Talking about issues like gender and sexuality can easily become fraught, or, even worse, one way interactions, instead of open events where everyone connects and learns.

When I lead an event, it’s not a lecture but a back and forth with the audience in an engaging, friendly, unexpected way. Helping people understand difficult or loaded issues should be rooted in creating a safe place where all questions are welcome, where everyone feels seen and understood, where people actually expand what they understand and leave with tools to further their education.

I create a custom presentation, depending on the issues each client wants to explore and the needs of the organization. When it makes sense, I bring in guest speakers who speak to specific groups, ideas or challenges. The point is to give the audience the most well-rounded and thorough examination of the issues.

I have spoken about Gender, Identity & Sexuality at Wieden & Kennedy, Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, Grindr and many other companies. I’d love to discuss working together so that the work we all do includes all of our voices.
